Regional Data Hub's BETA site goes live
Following the successful development and testing of the Regional Data Hub's prototype website in late 2022, the Regional Data Hub team have now launched the Hub's BETA site ahead the Hub's final website release scheduled for June 2023.
The BETA site largely reflects the core functionality and features contained within the prototype website, but also now includes range of new educational resources that are specifically designed to help users interact with the site and learn more about how to use data.
The learning materials, and many other enhancements, have been created in direct response to feedback provided during our prototype testing phase combined with the outcomes of our regional roadshow activities where our stakeholders were able to interact with the site and make practical suggestions on how we can improve the Hub as an overall product.
The team will be tracking user engagement with the BETA site over the coming months with a view to understand what parts of the site are creating the most interest and value for our users. This will help inform new features and content as we learn more about how the website is being used.
The BETA site is currently undergoing a targeted testing process with a select group of expert stakeholders, but the site also features easy to use mechanisms enabling all visitors to provide feedback via an embedded user survey as well as make suggestions for additions (datasets) to the Hub's data catalogue.
